The previous stove has been removes leaving a blank canvass.

We have installed the Contura 556 with a glass hearth.

The flue is to be left stainless steel.

This shows the view of the side glass from the kitchen.

The stove is tested and handed over to the customer.

The owner had tiled the hearth and back wall leaving 2 tiles out

so that the direct air vent could be installed.

The Scan DSA 10 has been installed and the twin wall flue system connected.

The stove is then commissioned and signed off.

We have trimmed down the original metal fire surround and opened up the fireplace and relined.  A Graphite Grey Slate has been cut to size with bevelled edges.

The Flue Liner has been installed with register plate and adaptor.

The fire place has been tiled with a brick bond pattern.

The Stanford 13 Stove is then fitted.

The fire place had been prepared and a new hearth fitted.

The new stove has been installed with a new liner and register plate.

To the bottom left you can see the air vent that is ducted to outside air

through the loft to allow for the extra air needed for this size of stove.

The new Charnwood C - SIX

C-Series

The C-Series is Charnwood’s latest innovation. A range of classically styled wood burning stoves that feature one single air control and an integrated outlet for ducting external air. The C-Series stoves deliver an exceptionally clean burn with outstanding efficiency and can be fitted with a drop-in multifuel grate for burning solid fuel and an optional store stand to raise the stove off the ground. A rear heat shield is also available enabling the stove to be placed closer to the wall.

All C-Series models are designed to meet DEFRA requirements for smoke control exemption; allowing wood to be burnt in smoke control areas.

The original marble and wooden fire surround with gas inset fire.

Here we have removed the existing fire surround and gas fire to expose the

fireplace opening.

A new slate hearth has been layed, the fire back has been leveled with the hearth.

The new liner has been installed and the stove adaptor fitted.

The new limestone fire surround has been fitted and the slate slips.

The stove is then fitted.

We light the stove and check for correct operation.

The original fire place and slate hearth that will be removed.

The fireplace and hearth has been removed, the chimney breast has been

opened out to allow the stove to sit in a little.

The fireplace has been lined, trimmed and made ready for a finish coat of plaster.

The final touches to the plaster.

A new slate hearth with bevelled edges is fitted.

Here you can see the stainless steel register plate and adaptor to the new stainless steel liner.

The stove is installed and commissioned.
